Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative Dispute Resolution

We hereby inform you that, as a consumer, you have the option of contacting a local ADR body to resolve a dispute that you have not managed to settle directly with CARTE DESCHISA SRL.

What is ADR?
ADR is a procedure for the out-of-court resolution of national and cross-border disputes concerning contractual obligations arising from sales or service contracts between a trader established in the European Union and a consumer, through the intervention of an ADR body that proposes or imposes a solution or brings the parties together in order to facilitate an amicable solution.

ADR bodies are out-of-court entities. An ADR body is a neutral party (for example, a conciliator, mediator, arbitrator, ombudsman or appeals board) that CARTE DESCHISA SRL will use to resolve disputes, if the consumer decides to use the ADR mechanism. The ADR process involves low costs and a simple, fast procedure, being therefore beneficial both for consumers and for traders, who can avoid court costs and lengthy proceedings.

How do I file a complaint through the ADR process?
If you wish to file a complaint, contact the national ADR body below. This ADR body will be able to answer any questions you have about the process.
