Terms and conditions

This website and online store, www.povestile-tale.ro, is operated by CARTE DESCHISA SRL, Tax ID 42056813, registered at DN25 no. 21, Șerbeștii Vechi, 807290, Galați county, Romania, e-mail contact@povestile-tale.ro, phone +40 747 169 169. By placing an order you accept these terms, in the form published on the date of your order.

1. Products and prices

Prices are expressed in Romanian lei (RON) and are final (CARTE DESCHISA SRL is not a VAT payer). We strive to keep product information accurate; obvious display errors (price or description) may be corrected, and if they affect an order already placed we will contact you before delivery for confirmation or cancellation with a full refund.

2. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

Orders are placed online through the shopping cart, no account needed. The distance contract is concluded when we confirm the order by e-mail. If a product is no longer available, we will notify you and refund any amounts paid for it.

3. Payment

Payment can be made securely online by card through the platform's payment processor; we do not store your card details. Other payment methods (for example cash on delivery), where available, are shown at checkout. An invoice is issued for every order and also submitted through Romania's national e-invoicing system, as required by law.

4. Delivery

We deliver in Romania by courier (Urgent Cargus). Costs, the free shipping threshold and timelines are described in the Shipping policy. eBooks are delivered instantly by e-mail.

5. Right of withdrawal and returns

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the products, without giving a reason, under Romanian OUG 34/2014. Exception: digital content not delivered on a tangible medium (eBooks), once downloading has begun with your express prior consent. Full details: Return policy.

6. Personal data and cookies

We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR); full details, including your rights, in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy. Non-essential cookies run only with your consent, given through the consent banner.

7. Intellectual property

The site's content (texts, illustrations, books, images, graphics, visual identity elements) belongs to CARTE DESCHISA SRL, to the author Alina Diaconu and, where applicable, to partner illustrators, and is protected by copyright law. Any use beyond personal use requires our prior written consent.

8. Liability

We apply all due diligence for the correct operation of the site and the accuracy of the information. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

9. Complaints and disputes

Write to us first at contact@povestile-tale.ro; we try to resolve any issue amicably. You can also use: ANPC (the Romanian Consumer Protection Authority), the ADR mechanism (alternative dispute resolution) and the European ODR platform. Disputes not resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.
